Countrylink XPT Passenger Train from Melbourne to Sydney - Australian Railways, Railroads & Trains


A Countrylink XPT has just departed Melbourne's Southern Cross station, and will now spend most of the night travelling to Sydney. The XPT has been in service since 1982, and is based on the InterCity 125 (or Class 43) design used by British Rail.
